Pastoral Epistles study day – notes rtf.

These attachments contain the handout and detailed notes for the Study course on the Pastoral Epistles held at St Paul’s Church on 31st May 2010. The notes should be read in conjunction with the handout, and with Bible in hand. The Bible translation on which the notes are based is the New Revised Standard Version (NRSV), but don’t worry if you don’t have a copy of this particular version. Unfortunately, it has not been possible to upload the ‘Odds & ends’ secti0n of the handout; please ask Peter Kane if you would like a copy of this.

The study course was prepared and delivered by Peter Kane.

Jessie Younghusband School is hosting an informal ‘drop-in’ on-line
afternoon as part of their WW2 Community project. They will be able to
show some of the work they have been doing about WW2 and demonstrate
different ways a computer can be used. All are invited to drop in, maybe learn
something new and have a cup of tea.
The session will take place on Tuesday 25th May from 1.00pm to 2.30pm in
the Computer Suite.

ourselves, and listening to God, all of which will help us to deepen our

Benefice Study Day on the Pastoral Epistles

An opportunity to study together the books of 1 & 2 Timothy
and Titus and to think about how their message relates to our own journey of
faith on Monday 31st May (Bank Holiday) from 10.00am to 2.30pm. If
you are interested in coming please sign up on the sheet at the back of the
church. Please bring sandwiches and a Bible – tea and coffee will be provided.
