Our dear friend, Dorothy Jacob, residing in her daughter’s residential home has now decided to sell some of her paintings. We are pleased to say there is a small exhibition and sale at St. Paul’s Church. Please come along to view and buy – the paintings will be available until Sunday 5th June 2011.
There is also a book to write in, which will be sent to Dorothy after the sale has ended. Please write your thoughts and notes.
On Thursday 2nd June, the NOISE project are running a craft morning at Swanfiled Community Centre.
I am putting together the crafts and will be leading the session, but i can not run every table! We need about 5 or 6 people to come along and help – it will be fairly easy – just helping kids to make/assemble/create. Full instruction and refreshments given!
We will meet there at 9.15am and be done by 12.30. The kids come between 10 and 12 – it is for school years 4-6.
If you have teenagers who want to come help, please let me know! If you have kids of your own who want to come, just turn up. If you want to help and have kids outside of the age range, that’s also fine!
I understand that many of you are busy over half term… if you can come help, would you be so kind as to pray and to ‘nominate’ someone else i can approach to come?
If you can help, please contact Jon on 533403 today!

A New Group for our older teenage members: could you help – maybe once a fortnight? Please contact Jon Robinson for details if you might be willing.
Your PCC last Tuesday re-appointed Sarah Manouch as Vice Chair; Sarah Gleeson as Treasurer; Margaret Heald as Secretary, and Rebecca Crawshaw, Kathy Manouch and Priscilla Gerrans as Deputy Wardens; received the customary reports, discussed at length and resolved to support financially the Deanery Family Support Worker; and heard the next steps in our building development.
