Lunchtime Organ Recital & Gala Concert – 28th January

Saturday 28th January at 12.45pm Lunchtime Organ Recital given by our two organ scholars, Samuel Martin and Andrew Creswick. Free entry. Retiring collection towards organ scholarship.

In the evening, there will be a Gala Concert at 7pm in which 5 local children’s choirs will be presenting their own programmes and joining together for a work commissioned for the festival. Tickets: £8 adults, £5 children. Profits to Chestnut Tree House Hospice, available from the Parish Office or Chris Larley Tel: 528318.

God@Work meeting – Thursday 15th December 2011

The next God@Work meeting is on Thursday 15th December 2011, from 1.10 to 1.50pm in the Eastern Arm of the Chichester Cathedral cloisters. Derek James, retired headmaster and Chichester City Councillor, will be speaking on ‘Faith in the City’. Do join us for 40 minutes of spiritual refreshment during your busy working week. You are welcome to bring your sandwiches – juice will be provided.

It’s almost here – the fun is about to begin. Come along for the coconut shy, the plate smash, the homemade cakes, the homemade jams…and so much more. Gates open at 11am, have a wander round and then pop inside for a cup of tea, or treat yourself to a hog roast.

A Choral Celebration by Fernhurst Choral Society

Saturday 21st May 7.30pm at St Paul’s A Choral Celebration by Fernhurst Choral Society with the Chichester Pro Camerata Orchestra including Fauré Requiem and music by Brahms, Elgar, and others. Tickets are £15 (£7.50 NUS students), including a glass of wine, from 644125, Fernhurst Post Office or Chichester Tourist Information Centre.

Ascension Day

Thursday, 2nd June is Ascension Day. The main Benefice Eucharist is at 6.30 pm at St Peter’s Westhampnett, the Revd James Cooper will preach, and there will be Fish and Chips afterwards (more details soon). There will also be the usual 10 am Eucharist at St Paul’s.

Guided Visits to 6 Wealden Churches

Followship of the 3rd Age

Royal Wedding Garden Party
