The Mayor’s Concert “Music of the Spanish Pilgrims” in the Cathedral on 16th April promises to be wonderfully atmospheric.  The renowned Renaissance Choir are singing, all profits to “Children on the Edge”, Chichester based and helping children in the developing world. Could you run or help with the plant/produce stall, for which St Paul’s is responsible? If so, please contact Jo Hunt (Tel: 531624).  We will need tombola prizes and plants: so start bringing in your tombola prizes now so that we can build up a big stall.

(And if you would like to be a house to house collector it’s not too late to tell Jo!)

Six Wealden Churches

Following the visit to 6 Downland Churches last summer the group has asked for a similar visit this year.  The 6 Wealden Churches “little gems” will be visited on Tuesday 17th May (group almost full) and Wednesday 25th May leaving St Paul’s at 10.00am.  Bring coffee and picnic.  Car sharing and back around 3.00pm.  Donation to BoS.  Anyone interested contact John Richardson, Tel: 536864.

Meeting to Elect Churchwardens & Annual Parochial Church Meeting

The Meeting to Elect Churchwardens and the Annual Parochial Church Meeting will be at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 5th April in Church, to receive reports and questions on all aspects of church life, and elect new members of the Parochial Church Council (PCC).

The Church Electoral Roll: to stand for office and to vote you must be on this Roll, and to qualify for the Roll, you must be baptised, over 16, and either live in the Parish, or have attended St Paul’s for at least 6 months; or both.  Enrolment forms are available from the Parish Office and the back of the church and must be returned to the Parish Office by Wednesday 16th March. You are warmly encouraged to be enrolled as a member, to come to the Annual meeting, and to belong fully to your parish church in this way.

There will be elections for four places on the PCC, which has practical, strategic and financial responsibility and oversight of our parish life, mission and buildings.. It meets normally 9 or 10 times a year, from 7.30 pm until 9.30 pm on the first Tuesday of the month. Would you have something to offer?

Team Leaders and Organisers: Please send your Reports to the Parish Office as soon as possible so that Persephone can publish them well before 5th April.

Fellowship for 3rd Age (F3A)

Two Friday groups have been arranged

  • Late pm 7pm to 8.30pm 18th March
  • Early pm 2.45 to 4.15 pm  25 March

The evening group will be at 31 Wellington Road, Chichester and the afternoon group at 4 Draymans Mews, St Pancras, Chichester.  Please phone Mary Ashwin 789003 if you want to be part of the afternoon group.

Christmas Craft and Fun!

There will be no charge for this event!
