Children and Young People at St Paul’s

We provide a range of services for children and young people of all ages, helping them to find faith, fun and fellowship as part of a caring, safe, community

Junior Church:

Junior Church (previously referred to as Sunday school) is held each week  alongside the Sunday 10.00am Eucharist service

Children and Families Services are held from time to time for specific occasions on Sunday afternoons.

Sometimes the Sunday Parish Eucharist, for example on Mothering Sunday, for Harvest Festival, is an All Age Service when members of the junior church remain throughout the service and participate by reading  the lessons and leading the intercessions.

Pilgrimages to Walsingham

The Diocese of Chichester organise both a Children's and Young Peoples pilgrimage to Walsingham each year.

Revd.Paul Matthews and Zena Matthews, our Schools and Families worker, organise  groups from St Paul's to each of these and actually accompany the Children who are going from here.

Dates for 2024 are available here
