Forthcoming Events & SERVICES 

10 October: Group Leaders and Staff Training Day: 2pm start, Speaker Lynda Goncalves from Sussex Human Resource working in partnership with the Diocese of Chichester.

Saturday 19 October, 6-9pm- Harvest Supper & Barn Dance: with live music from 'The Blarney Band', Homemade soup & crumble supper, drinks for donations; £10 adult, £5 child, £25 Family. Tickets in advance can be purchased at coffee after the Sunday Parish Eucharists. Donations of surplus tomatoes, onions, pumkins, butternut squash, apples, pears or blackberries welcome-please bring to church on Sunday 13th October

Sunday 20 October, Parish Eucharist Joint service for St Peter's & St Paul's 'JUBILATE' : A service of Thanksgiving for 25 years of Ordination of Women to the Priesthood. Martha, Rachael, Sue, Brenda and Clare are preparing a special service in which they will all take part; please put a date in your diary so that we may all celebrate together.

Sunday 20 October:4.30pm Songs of Praise Service -There is still time to make your bids(cash or cheque) to the office- the list of hymns is pinned on the notice board in church. All  money raised goes to 'St Paul's Renewed' project.

Sunday 27 October: 4.30pm One World Week service: an opportunity to reflect and pray about some of the issues affecting our planet and changes we must make in order to safeguard its future. One World Week is an annual event , held annually around United Nations Day (24 Oct) This year's title is 'Climate changes everything'

13 November: Safeguarding course (C1) in the Parish Centre, 7- 9pm   This is a foundation course for all those volunteering with children, young people or vulnerable adults. Please either sign a sheet at the back of the church to indicate you will be coming or book through Kim Nash at Church House 

Sunday 17 November, 3.30pm Deanery Confirmation Service: to be held at St Pul's, led by Right Reverend Michel Langrish who was Bishop of Exeter prior to his retirement. 

30 November: Christmas Tree Festival commences  Now it's time to sign-up and sponsor a tree  either for your own group or business to decorate or you can make a cash donation to enable local schools to decorate a tee.Application forms from Fiona Holland or the Parish Office.

6 December: Community Carol Service marks end of the Christmas Tree festival
